The mission of Today on the Bay is to inform and entertain the general population of Southeast Harris County, Mainland Galveston County, and the Clear Lake Region, locally referred to as the "Bay Area".

Today on the Bay accomplishes its mission by offering original feature news articles and editorials that discuss news-worthy events and information that reflect and impact the Bay Area. We also promote Bay Area business, civic organizations, associations, festivals, events, and entertainment. We allow Bay Area business and organizations to advertise with us so that they may increase visibility and promote both standard and special products and services to a prudent market. All of our efforts stand to promote local commerce, recreation and appreciation as we shine a bright, positive light on our hometown communities within the area.

Today on the Bay shall be a perpetually growing, renewing, and changing resource for the Bay Area, as we reflect the styles, standards, and seasons of our neighbors. We welcome input from all Bay Area residents who wish to express opinions regarding the Today on the Bay website, and are always open for suggestions on continued growth or added content.
